To safeguard against the spread of COVID-19, arrangements have been made towards our agency workers working across multiple sites.

This includes:

• Arrangements for COVID-19 testing

• Provision of PPE

• Infection prevention and control training

• Instructions regarding shielding and self-isolation

We expect that new agency workers must be tested in line with usual arrangements within your place of work, in the same way as any other new starter.

The usual safe employment checks for adult health and social care staff will be carried out, subject to the COVID-specific amendments made by the government in respect of DBS identity checks.

Our Agency workers will be offered COVID-19 risk assessments prior to placement at your Nursing Home, Care Home, Supported living Home or Retirement Home to ensure that any necessary mitigations to safeguard their health and wellbeing can be met. This risk assessment will be carried out by our agency or the receiving organisation, with consent from the individual to share the document as part of the placement contract.
